Eskorbuto is a Punk rock act. Their sound grew out of Kortatu, La Polla Records, Pretty Vacant, Sex Pistols and The Clash. Those roots explain a lot about how Eskorbuto arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Sin Dios, Siniestro Total, Boom Boom Kid, Boikot and Reincidentes, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into La Polla Records, R.I.P. and Barricada, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 21 connections around Eskorbuto, reaching back through Kortatu and forward to La Polla Records.
