L'Arc-en-Ciel is a Indie rock and Rap act. Their sound grew out of T.M.Revolution and Luna Sea. Those roots explain a lot about how L'Arc-en-Ciel arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Luna Sea, Vamps, X Japan, T.M.Revolution and The Yellow Monkey, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into JerryC and Mika Nakashima, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 18 connections around L'Arc-en-Ciel, reaching back through T.M.Revolution and forward to JerryC.
