Loona

Dance-popElectropop

Loona is a Dance-pop and Electropop act. Their sound grew out of Mecano, Luv' and Sezen Aksu. Those roots explain a lot about how Loona arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as LOONA/yyxy, ARTMS, ODD EYE CIRCLE (ARTMS), Yves and JinSoul, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Grimes, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 23 connections around Loona, reaching back through Mecano and forward to Grimes. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
