Nursery Cryme is a Progressive rock act. Their sound grew out of Pete Townshend, Family, The Beatles, King Crimson and The Who. Those roots explain a lot about how Nursery Cryme arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Selling England by the Pound, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, A Trick of the Tail, Family and Foxtrot, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 13 connections around Nursery Cryme, reaching back through Pete Townshend. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
