oOoOO is a Chillwave act. Their sound grew out of White Ring. Those roots explain a lot about how oOoOO arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Salem, Pictureplane, IC3PEAK, Portwave and Snow Strippers, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into White Ring and Salem, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation.
