Palmistry

Palmistry is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Popcaan, Vybz Kartel, Alkaline and Mr Eazi. Those roots explain a lot about how Palmistry arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Sega Bodega, Dinamarca, Cowgirl Clue, Tirzah and Gaika, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Mechatok, Tory Lanez, Isabella Lovestory, Charli XCX and Yung Lean, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 34 connections around Palmistry, reaching back through Popcaan and forward to Mechatok. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
