Splean is a Alternative rock and Indie rock act. Their catalogue also touches Progressive rock, Psychedelic rock and Rap. Their sound grew out of Bi-2 and The Beatles. Those roots explain a lot about how Splean arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Nautilus Pompilius, Zемфира, Чиж & Co, Lumen and 7Б, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into polnalyubvi, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 12 connections around Splean, reaching back through Bi-2 and forward to polnalyubvi. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
