Alternative rockIndie rockRap

Bi-2 is a Alternative rock and Indie rock act. Their catalogue also touches Rap. Their sound grew out of Monetochka. Those roots explain a lot about how Bi-2 arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Nautilus Pompilius, 7Б, Zемфира, Lumen and Чиж & Co, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Prāta Vētra, Splean, Chaif and Zemfira, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 14 connections around Bi-2, reaching back through Monetochka and forward to Prāta Vētra. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
