They run in the same orbit as Presents For Sally, The Sunshine Factory, Jetman Jet Team, Crash City Saints and Drowner, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Jake Bugg, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 28 connections around Spotlight Kid, reaching back through Lush and forward to Jake Bugg.
