Surf Curse

Surf Curse is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Current Joys and Vampire Weekend. Those roots explain a lot about how Surf Curse arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Vundabar, late night drive home, Mind’s Eye, The Rare Occasions and Yot Club, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into late night drive home, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 23 connections around Surf Curse, reaching back through Current Joys and forward to late night drive home. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
