T-ara is a Electropop and Synth-pop act. Their sound grew out of BoA. Those roots explain a lot about how T-ara arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as After School, Brown Eyed Girls, SISTAR, Orange Caramel and Secret, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into DAVICHI, Supernova and Chocolat, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 23 connections around T-ara, reaching back through BoA and forward to DAVICHI. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
