Rania is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Snoop Dogg, Teddy Riley, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and 2 Chainz. Those roots explain a lot about how Rania arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Hello Venus, 9MUSES, After School, T-ara and Secret, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Topp Dogg, Blackswan and Teddy Riley, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 29 connections around Rania, reaching back through Snoop Dogg and forward to Topp Dogg. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
