The Blood Brothers

Emo
EmoHardcore punk

The Blood Brothers is a Emo and Hardcore punk act. Their sound grew out of Coheed and Cambria, Chromatics, Nick Zinner, Sharks Keep Moving and Drive Like Jehu. Those roots explain a lot about how The Blood Brothers arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as The Fall of Troy, Some Girls, Drop Dead, Gorgeous, At the Drive-In and The Armed, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Telekinesis, Fleet Foxes, Weekend, Cold Cave and Death from Above 1979, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around The Blood Brothers, reaching back through Coheed and Cambria and forward to Telekinesis. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
