The KVB
The KVB is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of R. Missing, The Castaways, Status Quo, The Who and The Soft Moon. Those roots explain a lot about how The KVB arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as The Soft Moon, Tropic of Cancer, A Place to Bury Strangers, Cold Cave and French Police, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Editors, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 16 connections around The KVB, reaching back through R. Missing and forward to Editors. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
