Twiztid is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Dope, Krizz Kaliko, Insane Clown Posse, Rehab and Jared Gomes. Those roots explain a lot about how Twiztid arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Brotha Lynch Hung, Hopsin, Snak the Ripper and Ill Bill, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Primer 55, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 10 connections around Twiztid, reaching back through Dope and forward to Primer 55. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
