Vakero

Vakero is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Héctor Lavoe, Bob Marley and Ismael Rivera. Those roots explain a lot about how Vakero arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Toxic Crow, Poeta Callejero, Secreto "El Famoso Biberon", Milka La Mas Dura and Quimico Ultra Mega, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Don Miguelo and Arcángel, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 22 connections around Vakero, reaching back through Héctor Lavoe and forward to Don Miguelo. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
