Z-Ro

Z-Ro is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of 2Pac, Geto Boys, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Lil' Flip and Bun B. Those roots explain a lot about how Z-Ro arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Pimp C, Lil' Keke, Trae tha Truth, Fat Pat and Lil' Flip, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Slim Thug and Trae tha Truth, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 29 connections around Z-Ro, reaching back through 2Pac and forward to Slim Thug. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
