Zaytoven is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Young Stoner Life and YSL Records. Those roots explain a lot about how Zaytoven arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Lil Keed, 38 Spesh, French Montana, Meek Mill and Lil Gotit, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, Boo, OJ da Juiceman, Yung L.A. and Gucci Mane, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 46 connections around Zaytoven, reaching back through Young Stoner Life and forward to Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
