Zuriaake is a Black metal act. Their sound grew out of Ulver, Mortiis, Abigor, Candlemass and Mayhem. Those roots explain a lot about how Zuriaake arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Summoning, Ghost Bath, ColdWorld, Darkspace and Aara, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence.
