Russell Glyn Ballard is an English rock singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer. Originally rising to prominence as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Argent, Ballard became a prolific songwriter and producer by the late 1970s. His compositions "New York Groove", "You Can Do Magic", "Since You Been Gone", "I Surrender", "Liar", "Winning", "I Know There's Something Going On", "Can't Shake Loose", "So You Win Again", "No More the Fool" and "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" became hits for other artists during the 1970s and 1980s. He also scored several minor hits under his own name in the early and mid-1980s.He also wrote the song,Are You Cuckoo,for the Bay City Rollers,which appeared on their mega selling album,Dedication,in 1976.The same song appeared on the B side of their hit single,You Made Me Believe In Magic,in 1976.

Dare is an English rock band from Oldham, fronted by former Thin Lizzy keyboard player Darren Wharton. They formed in 1985 and have released twelve albums to date, eleven studio and one live. Their most recent album is the band's first compilation album, The Best Of Dare, this released in 2025. The band's most recent album prior to that release was originally due to be released in 2019, although it was later delayed with Road to Eden announced by the band in January 2022.

Bad English was an American–English hard rock supergroup band formed in Los Angeles in 1987. It reunited Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain with singer John Waite and bassist Ricky Phillips, his former bandmates in the Babys, along with Journey guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo. The band is known for their hit single "When I See You Smile", which peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1989.

The Night Flight Orchestra is a Swedish rock band from Helsingborg. Formed in 2007 by Björn Strid and David Andersson while they were touring in the US with their band Soilwork, they were later joined by bassist Sharlee D'Angelo, Richard Larsson, Jonas Källsbäck and, more recently, Sebastian Forslund (Kadwatha). They have released seven studio albums.
