Twin Tribes is an American dark wave band formed in 2017 in Brownsville, Texas. After years touring and three albums, the band has become one of the referents of new gothic rock and dark wave styles.

The Mission are an English gothic rock band formed in 1986. Initially known as the Sisterhood, the band was started by frontman Wayne Hussey and bassist Craig Adams, soon adding drummer Mick Brown and guitarist Simon Hinkler. Aside from Hussey, the lineup has changed several times over the years, and the band has been on hiatus twice.

Cold Cave is the solo electronic music project for musician Wesley Eisold, described as a "collage of darkwave, noise, and synthpop." A number of reviewers note the affinity with early 1980s post-punk and early synthpop, in particular Joy Division and New Order.
