Mal Blum is an American songwriter, musician, writer, live performer and comedian. Blum has released six full-length albums, either self-released or on independent record labels, the most recent being The Villain (2025).

The Mountain Goats are an American indie folk band formed in Claremont, California, by singer-songwriter John Darnielle. The band is currently based in Durham, North Carolina. For many years, the sole member of the Mountain Goats was Darnielle, despite the plural moniker. The Big Moon are a British indie rock band, formed in 2014 in London by frontwoman Juliette Jackson. Babatunde Omoroga Adebimpe is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is best known as a founding member and co-lead vocalist of the Brooklyn-based band TV on the Radio, with whom he has recorded five studio albums. In April 2025, Adebimpe released his debut solo album, Thee Black Boltz.

Screaming Females was an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, comprising Marissa Paternoster on vocals and guitar, Jarrett Dougherty on drums, and Mike Abbate on bass. They released their debut album Baby Teeth in 2006. The band were featured on NPR, Last Call with Carson Daly, and MTV. They played with bands such as Garbage, Throwing Muses, Dinosaur Jr., The Dead Weather, Arctic Monkeys, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists and The Breeders.

Cheekface is an American indie rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2017, the group consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Greg Katz, bassist and backup vocalist Amanda Tannen, and drummer Mark Edwards. Cheekface has released five studio albums, five EPs, and one live album, all on Katz's own label, New Professor Music.

Aly Spaltro, better known by her stage name Lady Lamb is an American singer-songwriter. Spaltro first began writing music in 2007 while working at Bart & Greg's DVD Explosion, the local video rental store in her hometown of Brunswick, Maine. Spaltro worked the closing shift, and would experiment with and record music all night into the morning. The first Lady Lamb recordings were home recordings distributed in handmade packages to the local Bullmoose Record Store in Brunswick.

Deep Sea Diver is an indie rock band based in Seattle. The band consists of Jessica Dobson, Peter Mansen (drums), Elliot Jackson and Garrett Gue (bass).

Indigo De Souza is an American singer-songwriter from Spruce Pine, North Carolina. Her third album, All of This Will End, was released in April 2023. Her fourth album, Precipice, was released in July 2025. She has been noted for creating "intimate, anxious indie rock songs [that] wrangle with disappointment and relationship challenges," with personal and confessional lyrics.

Sabrina Mae Teitelbaum, better known as Blondshell, is an American indie rock singer, songwriter and musician based in Los Angeles, California. Following an early pop-leaning career under the name BAUM, Teitelbaum debuted Blondshell in June 2022 with the single "Olympus". She has toured with acts including Suki Waterhouse, Horsegirl, and Porridge Radio and has performed at South by Southwest, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Her self-titled debut album was released on April 7, 2023, via Partisan Records, receiving positive reviews.

Palehound is the project of El Kempner (they/them) who has released five albums, Dry Food (2015), A Place I'll Always Go (2017), Black Friday (2019), Eye on the Bat (2023) and Live at First Congregational Church (2024); as well as the Bent Nail EP (2013) and a number of 7" singles. Initially a solo project, the touring band currently features Kempner on vocals/guitar, Jamie Pompei on drums, Beck Zegans on guitar, and Miles Toth on bass. In 2015, the band received the Boston Music Award for new artist of the year.

Originally from New Jersey, and currently based in Los Angeles, Van Etten's music is noted for its indie rock aesthetic and personal lyrical content. In the studio and during live performances, Van Etten is currently accompanied by her backing band, the Attachment Theory, which consists of Devra Hoff, Teeny Lieberson and Jorge Balbi (drums).
