Written by Fonsi and Panamanian-American and Brazilian singer-songwriter Erika Ender in collaboration with Yankee between 2015 and 2016, it was produced by Colombian record producers Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres in 2016. An English-language remix featuring Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber was released on April 17, 2017, with added lyrics by Bieber, and American singer-songwriters Poo Bear and Marty James.

"Scared to Be Lonely" is a song recorded by Dutch DJ and record producer Martin Garrix and English singer Dua Lipa. It was written by Dutch songwriter Giorgio Tuinfort, Nathaniel Campany, Kyle Shearer, and Georgia Ku, while the production was handled by Tuinfort, Valley Girl, and Lorna Blackwood. The song was released for digital download and streaming as a standalone single on 27 January 2017 by Stmpd Rcrds and Epic Records, after being premiered by Garrix at the 2017 AVA Festival a month earlier. "See You Again" is a song by American rapper Wiz Khalifa featuring American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth. It served as the lead single from her 1988 self-titled debut studio album. "It Ain't Me" is a song by Norwegian DJ Kygo and American singer Selena Gomez. "No Tears Left to Cry" is a song by American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande. It was released on April 20, 2018, by Republic Records as the lead single from her fourth studio album, Sweetener (2018). The song was written by Grande and Savan Kotecha with its producers Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh. An uptempo dance-pop, disco, power pop, and dance-R&B song driven by a UK garage beat, its lyrics reflect on Grande's efforts to move on following the Manchester Arena bombing, a terrorist attack on her concert the previous year, "celebrating rising above the world's negativity" with a "nearly spoken-word" vocalization.

The song was written by Harris and Lipa alongside Canadian singer Jessie Reyez, with Harris solely handling the production. It is a dance-pop, diva house and tropical house song with 1990s, electro house, Eurodance, funky disco, funk house, psychedelic electropop and UK garage elements. Horns, organs, and a synth-line are featured within the song, as well as house beats. Lyrically, the song is about instantly falling in love with a romantic interest after a kiss.

"Cake by the Ocean" is the debut single by American band DNCE. It was released through Republic Records as the lead single from their debut extended play, Swaay, on September 18, 2015, with the song being released on the EP a month later on October 23. It was also included on their self-titled debut studio album, which was released on November 18, 2016. The song was produced by Mattman & Robin and was written by the duo alongside group member Joe Jonas and Justin Tranter, the latter of whom previously being a member of Semi Precious Weapons with another member of DNCE, Cole Whittle.
