Sumo Cyco is a Canadian rock band from Hamilton, Ontario, consisting of lead vocalist Skye Sweetnam, guitarist Matt Drake, bassist Oscar Anesetti, and drummer Joey Muha. The band emerged as a punk-metal act in 2011 and has since released three studio albums and numerous singles.

Earlier in the year, Cabrera had become known for his up-tempo pop-rock single "On the Way Down". It was then followed by Cabrera's second single, "True"; and his third single "40 Kinds of Sadness".

Aly & AJ is an American pop rock duo consisting of sisters Alyson "Aly" Michalka and Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka from Torrance, California. They signed with Hollywood Records and in 2005, they released their debut album Into the Rush. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA and contained the singles "Rush" and "Chemicals React". They followed this release with the albums Acoustic Hearts of Winter (2006) and Insomniatic (2007). The latter contained the Platinum single "Potential Breakup Song", which was a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. They departed from their record label in 2010 and briefly changed their name to 78violet, releasing the single "Hothouse" in 2013.

After the label dropped her, she took a musical hiatus and established herself as a professional songwriter. In 2013, she made a return to music with the single "American Girl". In 2015, she independently released the EP Bombastic.

Vanessa Lee Carlton is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress. Her 2002 debut single "A Thousand Miles" spent 41 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned three Grammy nominations, becoming her signature song. It preceded her debut album, Be Not Nobody, released by A&M Records that same year and reaching number five on the Billboard 200. It further produced the singles "Ordinary Day" and "Pretty Baby". Her next album, Harmonium (2004), experienced similar success; its troubled production led Carlton to depart A&M in 2005.

Against the Current is an American rock band from Poughkeepsie, New York, formed in 2011. As of 2025, the band consists of lead vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow, and drummer Will Ferri. The band quickly gained a sizeable online following after posting covers of various popular songs on YouTube. They played Warped Tour in 2016.

Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick, known professionally as Vitamin C, is an American record executive, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. A-Teens are a Swedish pop music group from Stockholm. The group was formed by Niklas Berg in 1998 as an ABBA tribute group called ABBA-Teens, which was later renamed A-Teens. The band members are Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald, and Sara Lumholdt. The group is best known for the singles "Mamma Mia" (1999), "Upside Down" (2000) and "Floorfiller" (2002), all of which were hits worldwide. The group has been particularly successful in their home country where they have amassed eleven top 10 hit singles on the Swedish charts.
