Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen, better known by his stage name Darude, is a Finnish DJ and record producer from Eura, Satakunta. His music is characterised by its progressive/uplifting style. He started making music in 1995 and released the platinum-selling hit single "Sandstorm" in late 1999. His debut studio album, Before the Storm, was released on 18 September 2000, and sold 800,000 copies worldwide, earning Darude three Finnish Grammy Awards. It peaked at number one on Finland's Official List and number 6 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart in the United States. Darude's second studio album, Rush, reached number 11 on the Billboard dance chart in 2003 and number 4 on weekly album chart in Finland.

Technotronic was a Belgian electronic music project formed in 1987 by Jo Bogaert and best known for their 1989 single, "Pump Up the Jam", which features vocals by Ya Kid K. The song peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Later that year, the single was followed by the album of the same name, which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Technotronic achieved further success with the singles "Get Up! " and "Move This". They went on to release the albums Body to Body (1991) and Recall (1995), and they have been inactive since 2001.

Utah Saints are an English electronic music duo consisting of members Jez Willis and Tim Garbutt. The band had three top-ten and another five top-40 singles on the UK Singles Chart in the 1990s, as well as number-one dance tracks in the UK and US. They were notable for pioneering use of sampling technology, in particular, their practice of manipulating samples from mainstream pop, rock, R&B and soul songs and combining them with contrasting dance beats, using the samples in a new context. The band wrote, produced and mixed all of their own music. The duo were joined on stage by additional musicians when they played live from 1991 to 2001. They were one of the first electronic groups to play as a live collective and supported both the Shamen and U2 live at 10 stadium shows. Since then the duo have performed live sets themselves.

Members of Mayday was a German techno project by Klaus Jankuhn and WestBam. From 1991 until 2013 the Members of Mayday created the official hymn of the annual Mayday Rave, which at the time was Germany's largest indoor rave. In February 2014 WestBam left the group.

Brooklyn Bounce is one of several pseudonyms used by German producers Matthias Menck and Dennis Bohn (Bonebreaker). They have also produced music under the names Mental Madness Productions and Beatbox feat. Rael. Menck and Bohn have created remixes of a wide array of artists, including Scooter and Kool & the Gang.

Crazy Frog is a Swedish CGI-animated character and Eurodance musician created in 2003 by actor and playwright Erik Wernquist. Marketed by the ringtone provider Jamba!, the character was originally created to accompany a sound effect produced by Daniel Malmedahl while attempting to imitate the sound of a two-stroke engine.

Danzel is a Belgian musician, best known for his 2004 single "Pump It Up!" which reached the top 10 across Europe, including in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Romania and Switzerland. The single also reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and 29 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Other singles released have failed to achieve the same level of success.

Maurice Joseph François Engelen, known by his stage name Praga Khan, is a Belgian electronic musician. Khan is considered one of the leading pioneers of the new beat/acid house/techno electronic dance music scene that originated in Belgium. Khan has also contributed to the theatrical scene with his musical collaborations in The Next Dimension and Code Red. The group mostly performs in English, but has also released singles in German.

Culture Beat is a German Eurodance project formed in 1989 by Torsten Fenslau. The band has gone through a number of lineup changes over the years, achieving the most success whilst fronted by British singer Tania Evans and American rapper Jay Supreme. Their 1993 single "Mr. Vain" was a no. 1 hit in eleven European countries, and the group claims to have sold more than 10 million records worldwide.

L.A. STYLE was a British-Belgian-Dutch collaboration techno dance music group, consisting of founder, producer and radio DJ Wessel van Diepen, composer Denzil Slemming and FX a.k.a. Frans Merkx, as well as Foco and Ray Decadance of the Belgian project Rofo. L.A. Style was most notable for their 1991 single "James Brown Is Dead" and their 1992 single "I'm Raving", both of which appeared on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart, making them the first EDM group to venture near the top 50 of the main Billboard singles chart.

Alessandro Alfonso Fortunato Gaudino, better known by his stage name Alex Gaudino, is an Italian DJ and record producer.
