Ginger Root (姜根) is an American indie soul music project from Huntington Beach, California, led by singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Cameron Lew. Lew has described the project's musical sound as "aggressive elevator soul", also citing inspiration as coming from groups such as Vulfpeck, Toro y Moi, White Denim, Yellow Magic Orchestra, and Feist. On tour, Ginger Root has supported bands such as Khruangbin, Hippo Campus, Omar Apollo, Last Dinosaurs, and Japanese Breakfast as well as headlining their own tour in Fall of 2022, with supporting artists King Pari, Vicky Farewell, and Amaiwana.

Marc Rebillet is an American electronic musician and YouTuber from Dallas and based in New York City. He is known for his improvised funk, hip-hop, and electronic music with free-flowing, humorous lyrics. He distributes his work primarily through YouTube videos and Twitch live streams using a loop station, keyboard, vocals, and percussion instruments to produce his songs in his apartment. He has released three studio albums under his legal name: Marc Rebillet, Europe, and Loop Daddy III; two extended play records, and three projects under his "leae" moniker: Pod 314, the Rattlebrain EP, and the week | ep.

Iniabasi Samuel Henshaw, professionally known as Samm Henshaw, is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. Henshaw garnered mainstream radio support from BBC Radio 1 and was chosen by James Bay, Chance the Rapper, and Allen Stone for tour support. His 2019 single The World Is Mine was used as the theme music for Amazon Studios' TV adaptation of Alex Rider, based on the popular teen book series by Anthony Horowitz. Samm's debut album, Untidy Soul, was released on 28 January 2022.

St. Paul and The Broken Bones is an American eight-piece soul band based in Birmingham, Alabama, United States, that formed in 2012. The band is composed of Paul Janeway (vocals), Browan Lollar (guitar), Jesse Phillips (bass), Kevin Leon (drums), Al Gamble (keys), Allen Branstetter (trumpet), Amari Ansari (saxophone), and Chad Fisher (trombone). The Average White Band were a Scottish funk and R&B band that had a series of soul and disco hits between 1974 and 1980. They were best known for their million-selling instrumental track "Pick Up the Pieces", and their albums AWB and Cut the Cake. The band name was initially proposed by Bonnie Bramlett. They have influenced others, such as the Brand New Heavies, and been sampled by various musicians, including the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, TLC, the Beatnuts, Too Short, Ice Cube, Eric B. & Rakim, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Christina Milian, and Arrested Development, making them the 15th most sampled act in history.
