Christina María Aguilera is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. Da Lench Mob was an American hip-hop group from Los Angeles, California, active from 1990 to 1995. The group originally consisted of numerous individuals associated with rapper Ice Cube, but the initial recording lineup settled with rappers Shorty, T-Bone, and J-Dee. The group's debut album, Guerillas in tha Mist, was certified gold by the RIAA while the album's second single, "Freedom Got an A.K.", was a top-ten hit on the Hot Rap Songs chart. After J-Dee was incarcerated for a 1993 murder, he was replaced by Maulkie. Da Lench Mob released their second album in 1994, Planet of da Apes. The group disbanded in 1995.

Jungle Brothers are an American hip hop duo composed of Michael Small and Nathaniel Hall. Hailed as pioneers of the fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and house music, they were the first hip-hop group to collaborate with a house-music producer. The trio released their debut album, Straight out the Jungle, in July 1988. Their hip-house club hit single, "I'll House You" was added to the album in late-1988 reissues. Fostered by Kool DJ Red Alert, the Jungle Brothers' success influenced De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, and eventually the Native Tongues collective that they founded.
