Roots of JoJo

Kim Petras is a German singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. After attracting international attention for transitioning as a teenager, she released her debut EP, One Piece of Tape (2011), and wrote tracks for Fergie, JoJo, Skylar Simone, and Twice. In August 2017, Petras released her debut single "I Don't Want It at All", followed by the single "Heart to Break" (2018), which charted at No. 52 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart. She followed this with her second EP, Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1 (2018), the mixtapes Clarity and Turn Off the Light, and the single "How It's Done" (2019); the last of these featured on the soundtrack of Charlie's Angels. A further track with Kygo, "Broken Glass" (2020), charted at No. 13 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

Paula Dacia DeAnda is an American singer and songwriter. She is best known for the 2006 US Billboard Hot 100 top twenty single "Walk Away ". Her debut album, Paula DeAnda, was released in 2006.

Aryn Wüthrich, better known under her stage name Ryn Weaver, is an American pop singer-songwriter who first garnered attention with the single "OctaHate" in June 2014, with Billboard calling the single a viral sensation. Her debut studio album, The Fool, followed in 2015. She has also co-written songs for other artists, including JoJo's "When Love Hurts" (2015), and BTS and Charli XCX's "Dream Glow" (2019).

Corey Latif Williams, known professionally as Latif, is an American R&B singer and Grammy nominated songwriter. He was the winner of Teen People's Who's Next contest. He was a mentee of Teddy Pendergrass. He was once signed to Universal Motown Records.

Samantha Jade Gibbs is an Australian singer, songwriter and actress. She has written tracks for artists including JoJo and Ashley Tisdale. In 2012, Jade won the fourth season of The X Factor Australia, the first woman to win the Australian series. She subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released her winner's single "What You've Done to Me", which debuted at number one on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Singles Chart. On 16 August 2024, Jade released her new EP, Love.Sick. Vol 2, debuting at #5 on the Australian iTunes Album Charts.

Nathaniel Austin Brown is an American singer-songwriter and record producer.
