"Meet Me Halfway" is the third single from the Black Eyed Peas' fifth studio album, The E.N.D. (2009). Released in September 2009, the song peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts of Australia, Germany, Romania, Mexico, and the United Kingdom where "Meet Me Halfway" became the 10th-biggest-selling single of 2009.

"Do It like a Dude" is the debut single by British singer-songwriter Jessie J. The song was released as the lead single from her debut studio album, Who You Are. It was released as a download in November 2010 in the United Kingdom with a physical release in January 2011. "Do It like a Dude" peaked at number two on the UK singles chart. Outside the United Kingdom, "Do It like a Dude" peaked within the top ten of the charts in New Zealand. "Do It like a Dude" was awarded Best Song at the 2011 MOBO Awards.

O'Shea Jackson, known professionally as Ice Cube, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, and film producer. His efforts on N.W.A's 1989 album Straight Outta Compton contributed to gangsta rap's popularity, and his political rap solo albums AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (1990), Death Certificate (1991), and The Predator (1992) were all critically and commercially successful. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of N.W.A in 2016.

"About You Now" is a song by British girl group Sugababes from their fifth studio album, Change (2007). Written and produced by Dr. Luke along with Cathy Dennis and Steven Wolf, it was released on 24 September 2007 by Island Records as the lead single from the album, the first to feature Amelle Berrabah on all tracks. An uptempo pop track that combines heavy elements of pop rock and dance-pop, it infuses light electronic sounds. Lyrically, "About You Now" finds the protagonist thinking deeply over her relationship with her love interest from whom she parted.
