Makonnen Kamali Sheran, better known by his stage name iLoveMakonnen, is an American rapper and singer. He is best known for his 2014 single "Tuesday", which gained recognition following its remix with Canadian rapper Drake. After its release in August of that year, he signed with Drake's record label OVO Sound, an imprint of Warner Records that same month; the song was re-released by the label shortly after and subsequently peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Tuesday" was also nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, and served as the lead single for his likewise re-issued self-titled debut extended play (2014), which peaked at number 72 on the Billboard 200. He would later release a sequel, alongside two mixtapes, on the label, before parting ways with OVO in 2016.

Javorius Tykies Scott, known professionally as JayDaYoungan, was an American rapper and singer. He was best known for his 2019 single "23 Island", which received double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). After signing with Atlantic Records, the song was included on both his debut commercial mixtape Misunderstood (2019) and debut studio album, Baby23 (2020)—both of which entered the top 50 of the Billboard 200. His second and third commercial mixtapes, Endless Pain (2019) and 23 Is Back (2021), were released before his death on July 27, 2022, when he was fatally shot by five unknown assailants.

Charles Andrew Jones II, known professionally as Julio Foolio or simply Foolio, was an American rapper from Jacksonville, Florida. He was associated with the city's rap scene and was involved in high-profile feuds with other rappers. Jones was also linked to local gang activity, with his music often addressing these affiliations. Rival gang members shot and killed him on June 23, 2024, in a hotel parking lot in Tampa, Florida.
