Believer is a Alternative rock act. Their sound grew out of Iron Maiden, Saxon, Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne. Those roots explain a lot about how Believer arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Deliverance, Forbidden, Heathen and Sanctuary, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Therion, Nightwish, Living Sacrifice, Killswitch Engage and Sacrifice, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 15 connections around Believer, reaching back through Iron Maiden and forward to Therion.
