Bellini is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Girls Against Boys, Vincenzo Bellini and Don Caballero. Those roots explain a lot about how Bellini arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Kaoma, 2 Unlimited, Captain Jack, Danzel and Gala, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Henryk Wieniawski and Cecilia Bartoli, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 30 connections around Bellini, reaching back through Girls Against Boys and forward to Henryk Wieniawski. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
