Trap
Trap

B.G. is a Trap act. Their sound grew out of Lil Boosie, Mannie Fresh, Big Tymers, Чиж & Co and Boosie Badazz. Those roots explain a lot about how B.G. arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Juvenile, Silkk The Shocker, Young Jeezy, C-Murder and Lil Boosie, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Mobb Deep, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 30 connections around B.G., reaching back through Lil Boosie and forward to Mobb Deep.
