Monetochka is a Electropop and Synth-pop act. Their sound grew out of Viktor Tsoi, Kino and Alyans. Those roots explain a lot about how Monetochka arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Mumiy Troll, Bravo, polnalyubvi and Timati, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Zemfira, Noize MC, Swanky Tunes and Bi-2, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 11 connections around Monetochka, reaching back through Viktor Tsoi and forward to Zemfira.
