Big Punisher

Big Punisher is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Fat Joe, The Beatnuts, Joe, The Notorious B.I.G. and Big L. Those roots explain a lot about how Big Punisher arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Big L, Fat Joe, Rakim, Mobb Deep and DMX, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Sheek Louch, Jennifer Lopez, Joe and Promoe, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 31 connections around Big Punisher, reaching back through Fat Joe and forward to Sheek Louch. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
