Brantley Gilbert

Brantley Gilbert is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Pillar, Thomas Rhett, Chris LeDoux, Colt Ford and Lee Brice. Those roots explain a lot about how Brantley Gilbert arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Cole Swindell, HARDY, Blake Shelton, Randy Houser and Eric Church, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Justin Moore and Lindsay Ell, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 33 connections around Brantley Gilbert, reaching back through Pillar and forward to Kane Brown. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
