Colt Ford

Colt Ford is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Laura Bell Bundy. Those roots explain a lot about how Colt Ford arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Brantley Gilbert, Blake Shelton, Jerrod Niemann, Chris Cagle and Cole Swindell, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Brantley Gilbert, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson and Bone Crusher, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 27 connections around Colt Ford, reaching back through Laura Bell Bundy and forward to Brantley Gilbert. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
