Chen

Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&BRhythm and blues

Chen is a Contemporary R&B and Rhythm and blues act. Their sound grew out of Xiumin and John Lennon. Those roots explain a lot about how Chen arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Exo-CBX, BAEKHYUN, EXO-K, Kai and SuperM, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Xiumin, BAEKHYUN, 10cm, Dynamic Duo and Punch, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 27 connections around Chen, reaching back through Xiumin and forward to Xiumin. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
