SuperM is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Exo-CBX, SHINee, EXO, NCT 127 and WayV. Those roots explain a lot about how SuperM arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as NCT U, NCT 127, TAEMIN, TAEYONG and EXO-K, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Stray Kids, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 29 connections around SuperM, reaching back through Exo-CBX and forward to Stray Kids. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
Background
SuperM (Korean: 슈퍼엠) was a South Korean supergroup formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group.
