Clock DVA is a Industrial act. Their sound grew out of The Future, Heaven 17, Throbbing Gristle and The Human League. Those roots explain a lot about how Clock DVA arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Chrome, Psychic TV, Throbbing Gristle, Haujobb and Numb, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Forgotten Sunrise, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 10 connections around Clock DVA, reaching back through The Future and forward to Forgotten Sunrise.
