Day6 is a Alternative rock act. Their sound grew out of J.Y. Park, Jamie Miller and 2AM. Those roots explain a lot about how Day6 arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Xdinary Heroes, N.Flying, BTOB, WOODZ and The Rose, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Han, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around Day6, reaching back through J.Y. Park and forward to Han. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
