Block B

Hip hop
Hip hop

Block B is a Hip hop act. Their sound grew out of Keita Tachibana, B1A4, Chanmina and Heo Sol-ji. Those roots explain a lot about how Block B arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Zico, 2PM, Infinite, VIXX and BTOB, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Jeon Soyeon, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 29 connections around Block B, reaching back through Keita Tachibana and forward to Jeon Soyeon. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
