Disciples is a Deep house act. Their sound grew out of Ina Wroldsen. Those roots explain a lot about how Disciples arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Jax Jones, Oliver Heldens, Sonny Fodera, MK and Joel Corry, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Ella Eyre and Nero, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 24 connections around Disciples, reaching back through Ina Wroldsen and forward to Ella Eyre.
