Jax Jones is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of The Neptunes, Duke Dumont, M.A.N.D.Y., Marlon Roudette and Calum Scott. Those roots explain a lot about how Jax Jones arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Joel Corry, Sigala, Felix Jaehn, Sam Feldt and Ofenbach, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Raye, Demi Lovato, Stefflon Don, Madison Beer and GRACEY, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 71 connections around Jax Jones, reaching back through The Neptunes and forward to Raye. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
