Radio Futura

Radio Futura is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Talking Heads. Those roots explain a lot about how Radio Futura arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Nacha Pop, Duncan Dhu, Alaska y Dinarama, Los Secretos and Loquillo, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into El Canto del Loco, Mecano and La Fuga, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 25 connections around Radio Futura, reaching back through Talking Heads and forward to El Canto del Loco. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
