Hombres G is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of The Beatles, Alice Cooper, Vladimir Cosma, Frank Sinatra and Efecto Pasillo. Those roots explain a lot about how Hombres G arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Enanitos Verdes, Duncan Dhu, La Unión, Elefante and El Tri, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Franco de Vita, La Quinta Estación, El Canto del Loco, Los Prisioneros and Timbiriche, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 46 connections around Hombres G, reaching back through The Beatles and forward to Franco de Vita. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
