Excision

Excision is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Dirtyphonics and Jeff Arwadi. Those roots explain a lot about how Excision arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Zomboy, 12th Planet, Kayzo, PhaseOne and Ganja White Night, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into bbno$, Subtronics, Dirtyphonics, Deltron 3030 and Datsik, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 22 connections around Excision, reaching back through Dirtyphonics and forward to bbno$. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
