Dubstep

Zomboy is a Dubstep act. Their sound grew out of Skrillex and Rusko. Those roots explain a lot about how Zomboy arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Knife Party, Kill the Noise, Virtual Riot, Doctor P and Skrillex, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 14 connections around Zomboy, reaching back through Skrillex. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
