Subtronics

Subtronics is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Ganja White Night, Skrillex, Excision and Doctor P. Those roots explain a lot about how Subtronics arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Zeds Dead, Ganja White Night, Peekaboo, Virtual Riot and Zomboy, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Peekaboo, Griz, Snails, Zeds Dead and Jauz, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around Subtronics, reaching back through Ganja White Night and forward to Peekaboo. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
