Gloc-9

Gloc-9 is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Parokya Ni Edgar and Keith Martin. Those roots explain a lot about how Gloc-9 arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Parokya Ni Edgar, Eraserheads, Bamboo, Sarah Geronimo and Rico Blanco, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Josh, Ben&Ben and Pablo, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 15 connections around Gloc-9, reaching back through Parokya Ni Edgar and forward to Josh. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
